Wellspring was first incorporated in 1979 as Hot Springs County Counseling Services, Inc., and has been an integral part of Hot Springs County health services since.
As a private, non-profit organization, we strive to provide necessary treatment and prevention services for the citizens of our county.
Located in Thermopolis, Wyoming, our agency is situated in the lower Big Horn Basin at the north end of the Wind River Canyon on the Big Horn River. Known for its hot springs, Thermopolis is a small community in the smallest county in the state. Its economy is derived from oil reserves, agriculture, and tourism. Wellspring serves a population of approximately 5,000 people.
We have been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for years in a row, with 2015 bringing our highest ranking to date. For more information regarding CARF Accredidation, visit the CARF website.
